Why go to China? This module helps you make the China decision with insights in to market dynamics, culture, demographics and the political environment. It covers how to go about researching the market, adapting products and services, brand management and sales and marketing in China.

Module 2: China Market Entry Strategy
Having decided to enter the China market, learn about the different modes of entry (including via Hong Kong and Taiwan), legal and management structures, China’s government priorities, business negotiation and meeting protocol.

Presenters:
Amy Adams holds Chinese Language, Literature and Teaching qualifications gained over a four-year period in both America and China, before moving permanently to China in 1999. From 1999 to 2006 Amy lived & worked in Shanghai, Beijing and Tianjin for both western multinational companies and with CNOOC (China National Offshore Oil Company) – an SOE (Chinese State Owned Enterprise). In 2006 Amy became a partner and Director of Training of Occam Consulting Limited and has designed & delivered over 165 training programs to 50+ multinational companies & government organisations. This background provides clients a unique opportunity experience training based on a thorough understanding of Chinese culture and work practices combined with a western perspective on responsibility, communication and results orientated outcomes. Her work and research takes her throughout mainland China and to Taiwan, Singapore, Hong Kong, UK, USA and NZ.
